Albarent is a private company that provides road transport services. The owner of the company is Blendi Gonxhe, the general director of the Road Transport Service Directorate. During the last years, the company Alba Rent has directly received over 2 million euros of tenders from central or local public institutions. Among its contractors are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Parliament, the Directorate of Government Services and many other public agencies. So, through his private company, the General Director of the Road Transport Service channels state budget money into his bank accounts. Neither tender has been investigated.
